NYU LANGONE HOSPITAL–BROOKLYN HONORS ORGAN DONORS DURING DONATE LIFE MONTH

Organ donation saves lives, and recipient Bill O’Hagan is proof of that. O’Hagan had a liver transplant in 2017 after a tough battle with cancer. He has since been able to walk his daughter down the aisle and be an active grandfather to three grandchildren. O’Hagan will share his story during the LiveOnNY Flag-Raising Ceremony at NYU Langone Hospital–Brooklyn recognizing April as Donate Life Month. Chief Medical Officer Joseph M. Weisstuch, MD, will speak about the value of organ donation as part of the ceremonial program.
